We take health and safety very seriously and are constantly looking to the future for more ways to expand our knowledge to keep each other safe. Our nationwide crews work on live sites daily, and without proper communication on all levels these sites can be hazardous places to be. However, with open dialogue and effective risk assessments in place, our staff can liaise with the teams onsite to ensure safe working practices are followed so everyone goes home safe.

It doesn’t end there – we have invested in an all-in-one digitised safety system, and for over three years now we have implemented SafetyPal which offers integrated health and safety measures to create a fool-proof way of working, adhering to even the most difficult of standards. This cloud-based system provides our employees with full access to a multitude of health and safety documentation including our risk assessments, method statements, vehicle checks, safety alerts.
Safetypal also helps our business keep on top of the various training schemes we offer to all our workers and will notify us ahead of time when any training and certifications are about to expire, allowing us to keep our employees up to date on all their training.

On top of this we also have an external health and safety advisor, Graham, who has a wealth of knowledge in the industry and will celebrate working with Riggotts for 25 years this year, so is highly informed on all the intricate details of our work. Our external advisor, along with our senior management team and crew representatives hold a weekly health and safety meeting to ensure all issues and areas of concern are being brought to the table and being addressed effectively.
