EV charging signs - what are the rules?

Without clearly marked signs, your visitors could end up driving around in circles looking for the right spot. Our precisely painted, durable EV charging bay markings make easy work of finding the correct place to park.

There is no universal standard for EV charging signs, which means you can design your own floor graphics. We’ll take your ideas and transform them into a high-contrast design that can be applied to tarmac, concrete, or metal.

If you’re unsure where to start, we have various templates you can use for inspiration or simply reproduce for your car park.

Hertfordshire service station’s EV bay markings

Baldock Service Station in North Hertfordshire already had multiple electric charging points when they approached us, but they wanted to expand this capacity to offer more vehicles a space in their car park. We added two new EV bays with electric car charging markings in thermoplastic paint and 150 metres of white lining. These new bays are helping to meet the rising demand for electric vehicle charging points on the UK’s motorways.
