High fliers in airfield line marking
Our team of highly skilled technicians cover airports, airfields, and MOD bases around the UK. We adhere to CAA CAP168 and military JSP318 standards, so you can rest assured that the finished markings meet the required grade for friction, visibility, and precision.
We use a range of materials, including chlorinated rubber, thermoplastic paint, and one- or two-part epoxy. The choice of material is carefully determined by the surface and the specific requirements of the job.
Our line markings are produced to exacting standards to meet your individual requirements.

Rubber removal and surface preparation
Rubber removal requires careful planning and coordination to minimise disruption to airport operations and ensure the safety of personnel and equipment. We use state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to remove rubber residue from the runway before we apply new line markings. Surface preparation is key to ensuring that your new markings stand the test of time under heavy pressure from aircraft and ground support equipment.

RAF Benson lines up Riggotts for its runway markings
RAF Benson in South Oxfordshire is home to two-thirds of the RAF’s helicopter force, with regular deployments round-the-clock. Meticulous time management was key to completing this job with minimal disruption. We updated the old line markings, added new centre dots to the runway, and painted dedicated walkways for a very happy customer in just five days.
