We’d like to take the time to shine the spotlight on a remarkable cause that has been making a profound difference to the lives of families in our local community for many years. The Riggotts team have always been passionate about supporting meaningful initiatives, and one that we are proud to have supported throughout the years is Stuart Dixon’s fundraising for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
Over the years Stuart and his Sherwood Jaguars team have raised over £360,000 for this incredible facility that provides around the clock end of life care and emotional support to families during some of their most difficult moments. This year Stuart’s goal is more ambitious than ever as he strives to reach an astonishing £400,000. In previous years, businesses and members of the public have been able to get involved by donating to place a sticker on one of his well decorated fleet of vehicles which can been seen at various car shows and local events.
Since 2008, Bluebell Wood has been a lifeline for families navigating unimaginable circumstances. Their dedicated team provides an incredible range of services, everything from physiotherapy, music therapy and wellbeing workshops for families and carers, to short breaks and bereavement support.
Every single day Bluebell Wood plays an active role in helping families make the most of every magical moment together. Their work is only possible thanks to generous donations and kind-hearted supporters – it’s because of people like you that they can continue to provide essential care for local families when they need it the most.
