Victory at Waterloo

25th September 2017by aperturemarketingukNews

When it comes to line marking, we’re always up for a challenge. We were happy to take on 400m of thermoplastic lining, disabled logos, and 74 letters and numbers at Waterloo Trade Park, an industrial unit in Hull.

As well as being delighted with the end result, the client was impressed with the ease of the whole process. Richard M Hesk, Managing Director of Waterloo Property Development Ltd, told us:

“Adam and Mark did a great job and I was grateful for their advice with the couple of ‘on the spot’ changes that were necessary during the painting! I appreciated them being at the site well before the prearranged start time and working right through till the finish. The whole experience has been positive.”

Because we don’t use sub-contractors, we can guarantee an experienced, reliable team every time. We believe it’s our professional approach, liaising with clients every step of the way, that sees them return to us again and again.

Riggotts Brave Gale Force Winds To Line Nissan Motors At Port Of Tyne

18th March 2016by aperturemarketingukNews

Riggotts have just completed a new large-scale line marking project for Nissan Motors Manufacturing at the Port of Tyne. Port of Tyne is a gateway for world commerce as it is the UK’s leading and fastest-growing car handling port and also the 7th largest car handling port in Europe.

Nissan’s Port of Tyne car terminal is located just seven miles from the Nissan Sunderland factory. The factory is both Nissan and Europe’s single most productive car plant, having contributed almost one-third of all Nissan cars produced last year.

Riggotts was subcontracted by Rainton Construction Limited to line roughly 14,500 metres of parking bays at the Nissan terminal. Approximately 650 numbers and letters were laid down in addition to miles of thermoplastic white lines. Due to gale force winds and adverse weather conditions, the job wasn’t easy – but this is exactly why Riggotts was the perfect choice for the job. With a wealth of experience and professionalism, our operatives hunkered down and completed the job flawlessly despite the bad weather.

Historic Site Lined for Jaguar Land Rover

Former Historic Site to Become Jaguar Land Rover Distribution Centre
Leading UK car giant Jaguar Land Rover is bringing a new lease on life to the historic coal-mining site Baddesley Colliery. In response to continued growth, the luxury vehicle manufacturer is relocating its National Distribution Centre from Gaydon to the 50,000-meter site in Baxterley, where the council approved its planning application last June. Currently, Jaguar Land Rover is one of the largest employers in the Midlands, and hope to create numerous jobs with this new 24-hour car storage and distribution depot. badd1
(www.ourwarwickshire.org.uk) The site of the new facility is steeped in history. Baddesley Colliery opened in 1850 and has employed thousands of workers. In 1882, it was the site of one of the worst disasters in the history of West Midlands mining, when a fire and explosion claimed the lives of 32 workers. The mine closed over 100 years later in 1989, after nearly 140 years in operation. Today, a memorial to honour the men lost in the accident stands next to the Rose Inn in Baxterley.

Riggotts are proud to have been selected to partake in a project of such significance. Nick Riggott, Joint Managing Director of Riggott & Co. Ltd., adds, “Having been sub-contracted by our trusted client, The Buckingham Group, this project was a great chance for us to showcase our high level of commitment to the job. Due to the scale of the project, our operatives have been working tirelessly to deliver results that are, as always, second to none.” badd3 We’ve also been busy lining numbered bays, crosswalks and traffic markers.

Riggotts’ Work Providing Car Park Lining

22nd April 2010by aperturemarketingukNews

As well as our work providing road marking services up and down the UK for various roads and motorways, Riggotts also work on various different projects including car park lining. Our client portfolio includes private sector companies and some of the largest supermarkets in the UK and we have built a reputation for excellence. At Riggotts we are national line marking experts and have teams of highly trained and experienced experts who can create any design needed with the use of specialised machinery and high-quality materials.

This allows us to create brightly coloured surface coverings as well as traditional yellow lining and white lining, for example, we created brand new red designated areas for disabled and parent and child parking spaces at a new Tesco Extra store in Dudley making it easier for their customers to find an appropriate parking space. Much like motorway line markings, car parks come under a lot of wear from hours of being driven through on a daily basis so our combination of excellent workmanship and high-quality materials means that our surface coverings and line markings stay looking fresh and vibrant. If your car park has existing markings, we also have a surface preparation service to remove old markings and prepare it for the new.

A well-planned and easily navigated car park makes for far more enjoyable and convenient shopping experience for customers which can only be a good thing for companies both big and small so it is important that your line marking is spot on. As national line marking experts, Riggotts have both the experience and knowledge to deliver car park line markings that increase convenience, ease-of-use and safety.

If you have ideas in mind for your car park line marking, we can work with your plans and give advice so that you get the right surface coverings and line markings for your requirements. All our projects are completed within time scale whilst delivering on quality so there is minimal disruption to your company.
