Riggotts sponsor Summer Celebration

23rd July 2019by aperturemarketingukNews

Riggotts National Line Marking sponsored the Summer Celebration at Beckingham Village Hall on 15 June 2019.

Beckingham Village Hall’s Summer Celebration comprised climbing walls, raffles, craft halls, archery and of course, plenty of Prosecco, strawberries and cream.

Here’s what Joan Sanger, Organiser of the event, had to say: “People were very generous to us, including your business, and we were able to hire the activities.

“The wall was expensive but I asked for sponsorship from a few businesses that had worked for us over the past year or two towards the cost to enable us to hire it.

“It [the wall] and the archery activities gave our young people experiences they would not normally be able to take part in.”

Joan continued: “Our young people were delighted with it, despite half an hour of rain!

“We had a most successful afternoon (both socially and financially) with lots of visitors and we were able to raise £1,100 for our Village Hall funds.”

Nick Riggott, Joint Managing Director at Riggotts, commented on the sponsorship saying: “We owe a lot to the communities surrounding Riggotts.

“We employ over 80 people in our surrounding area, so it’s only natural that we get involved with our community.

“We’re always looking out for more ways we can get involved, so if anybody has any suggestions we’re very open to hear them.”

While Riggotts provides its clients with a solution to any line marking needs in any part of the UK, it’s very much focused on home.

Riggotts Sponsor Stuart Dixon in his effort to raise £100,000 for Bluebell Wood

20th May 2019by aperturemarketingukNews

Riggotts join Stuart Dixon in his efforts to raise over £100,000 for BlueBell Wood – a children’s hospice dedicated to providing young people and their families with the best possible end of life support.

Since entering retirement after a successful career in the tool hire industry, Stuart has turned his efforts to raising money for the cause by offering spaces on his Jaguar for people to add a sticker for just ten pounds. Stuart is also letting companies take part in this epic charity event by having their logos as stickers advertised on the car.

Last year Stuart managed to raise over £80,000 for the initiative before moving onto his second Jaguar this year. This year he’s aiming even higher and is planning to speed past last year’s already staggering total by a whopping £20,000.

Nick Riggott, Joint Managing Director at Riggotts, commented on the sponsorship saying:

“It’s important as part of the community that we give back as much as possible. We heard about Stuarts plan to raise over £80,000 with his Jaguar and immediately thought of it as something different and interesting. Riggotts now proudly holds two stickers on the Jag’ and we will be sure to support him again in his future efforts to raise money for the charity.”

Christmas – a time for giving.

11th January 2019by aperturemarketingukNews

To honour the festive tradition of giving to others, Riggotts decided their 2018 charity budget would be donated to The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.

The Fund is a unique charity which supports “Hearts for Life” by providing resources, funding, and equipment to those who need it most. Based at the Leeds General Infirmary, they help with care for over 450 patients across West and North Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire supporting their patients “from the womb to adulthood”.

This year’s choice of charity was particularly poignant as one member of our team witnessed the benefits of their exceptional work firsthand. Unfortunately, Jon’s granddaughter was born with a congenital heart defect ultimately leading to two tough but successful procedures undertaken at Leeds General Infirmary. Jon and his family are forever grateful for the care and facilities provided by The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund and the hospital and we all hope our donation goes a little way in helping them continue the brilliant work they do.
