Warehouses as a whole are notoriously high-risk workplaces – they’re densely trafficked and filled with often thousands of products, not to mention the heavy machinery which calls these vast warehouses home.
When health and safety is a priority, this can often come at the cost of efficiency. If done right, health and safety warehouse line markings can be surprisingly effective at boosting efficiency as well as complying with health and safety standards.
In a fully functioning warehouse, there are several things employees need to be aware of; and in this bustling workplace without the correct warehouse line markings, awareness can be difficult.
Riggotts provides a comprehensive range of warehouse line marking tools in their arsenal to improve health and safety and the efficiency of the warehouse. Using specialist materials unique to Riggotts the quality and durability of there work is second-to-none.
Riggotts recently carried out works at a warehouse in Atherstone. In total, there was 4264m of warehouse line marking, 132m2 solid areas, 418 300mm letters/numbers, 14 pedestrian logos and 344m2 sealer. In order to improve the durability and longevity of the materials, all the above surfaces were first prepared by captive shot blaster – creating a rough-textured surface with more surface area for the materials to adhere to.
