Thermoplastic and MMA Line markings for Doncaster Client
30th August 2020by galinar84News
As technologies in our industry have advanced over the years, so have we. We’ve adapted our techniques and methods to work with the latest and best technologies available for our clients.
On one of our latest projects in Doncaster, we used both Thermoplastic and MMA line markings for the best results focusing on durability.
Methyl Methcrylate or more commonly known as MMA is a two-component mixture of cold plastic and activator creating a chemical reaction which hardens the material. This screed applied material used in high-stress traffic locations such as roundabouts, junctions and heavily trafficked roads, because of its extremely durable qualities.
Collectively Thermoplastic and MMA make for extremely durable and vibrant materials.
Altogether, the experienced Riggotts operatives completed a total of; five disabled logos, two pedestrian logos, 60 letters and numbers, 588 meters of thermoplastic line markings and 532 meters squared of blue MMA line markings.
Overall, the client was happy with the results which will not only stand the test of time but improve the health and safety around the site – mitigating potential risks and lowering the rate of accidents.
