Child’s play at Riggotts

From lining underground car parks to marking out race tracks, during our 25 years of operation we’ve done it all.
The diversity of what we do and the range of experience we are able to provide our crews with is how we instil assurance, competence and reliability into our work. This job saw the Riggotts team called out to Bracknell near Reading by Mi-Space Ltd. The team were tasked to carry out playground refurbishment at Bellway Homes, Stirling Square. The UK’s first purpose-built playground was created in Manchester in 1859, having already been adopted in Germany and recognised as a key platform for teaching children how to interact with others.Playgrounds bring children together, teaching them social skills as well as helping them learn how to work as part of a team. Needless to say, they’re an important part of growing up.We were called to bring the playground back to life by re-lining the faded netball court with single pack epoxy, a numbered ladder, as well as the car park using durable thermoplastic to ensure the colours stay vibrant and the preform hopscotch, stays clear for many small feet to come.
With our fully trained crew on the job, it was no time at all until playtime could be resumed and the now more vibrant, engaging children’s playground was back in business.
