Christmas – a time for giving.

To honour the festive tradition of giving to others, Riggotts decided their 2018 charity budget would be donated to The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.

The Fund is a unique charity which supports “Hearts for Life” by providing resources, funding, and equipment to those who need it most. Based at the Leeds General Infirmary, they help with care for over 450 patients across West and North Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire supporting their patients “from the womb to adulthood”.

This year’s choice of charity was particularly poignant as one member of our team witnessed the benefits of their exceptional work firsthand. Unfortunately, Jon’s granddaughter was born with a congenital heart defect ultimately leading to two tough but successful procedures undertaken at Leeds General Infirmary. Jon and his family are forever grateful for the care and facilities provided by The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund and the hospital and we all hope our donation goes a little way in helping them continue the brilliant work they do.
