ON (BALL) POINT FOR WHSMITH

One of the K’s leading retailers and long-standing client, WHSmith, contracted Riggotts to carry out works in their Birmingham distribution centre.

With health and safety in mind, the client put major emphasis on improving pedestrian areas and walkways to ensure employee safety throughout the centre. Continuing with the above and beyond attitude, Riggotts has so far undertaken over 1200 meters of single line and over 700 square metres of solid area – all completed out of hours (including weekends) to cause minimum disruption to operations.

In addition, Riggotts assigned their Advanced Surface Preparation Division to initially prepare the surfaces using their state of the art machinery. This allowed the specialist paint crew to efficiently complete their warehouse lining task, keeping the whole job on time and within budget.
